COCONUTS DOLPHIN TOURNAMENT - SOME GOOD NEWS AND SOME BAD NEWS!

The Bad News is that, after 26 continuous years of the successful execution of the famous “Coconuts Dolphin Tournament”, an unexpected circumstance put a halt to this year’s planned event.

Though well in process for the 27^th Annual Tournament, Charles and Colleen Mountain were devastated to find their plan, as well as their entire Coconuts Operations, were no longer included in the plan of the Property Owner. 

Unfortunate, as it turns out, for all of us who enjoyed the fun, and excitement, not to mention the prizes of one of South Florida’s Largest Fishing Tournaments. This year, Key Largo will not host the crowds of hundreds of out-of-towners who made the event their Third-Week-Of-May Ritual. Not having adequate time to re-locate to another Key Largo venue, the Good News - - -the Mountain’s have continued working to establish the 27^th Coconuts Dolphin Tournament that is now scheduled for May 15 – 18, 2014. 

The 2014 Event at its new Key Largo location will be announced at a later date, but promises to bring its historic fun-filled competition back, to again be enjoyed by its loyal anglers, family, friends, and all who enjoy fishing and family-oriented activity.
